CADE
2018 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
HOWELL MOUNTAIN
NAPA VALLEY
Looking to expand, CADE Estate Winery, established by the owners of PlumpJack, transpired when a premium vineyard site capable of producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon became available on Howell Mountain.
The construction of the new winery was based solely upon environmental responsibility and is Napa Valley’s first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certified estate.
Winemaker Danielle Cyrot consistently delivers stunning wines with the winery’s state-of-the-art equipment and Howell Mountain’s distinct terroir, offering a different perspective and style than PlumpJack, which primarily comes from the valley floor.
The CADE Howell Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has scored well into the 90s nearly every year since the first vintage, and 2018 has already earned 95 points by Jeb Dunnuck and Vinous Media.

2018 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
NAPA VALLEY
$79.99
From Wine Enthusiast: “This is such an outstanding wine at any price, but here we’re talking about outstanding value as well. Notes of iron and crushed rock lead to a lengthy balance of juicy red fruit and clove. With small amounts of Merlot, Malbec, Saint-Macaire and Cabernet Franc, it shows a deft hand at blending, with lasting notes of black pepper and nuanced oak.”

From Wine Enthusiast: “This is a muscular wine with a velvety backdrop—classic for the vintage and appellation. Silky tannins glide across a foundation of turned earth, crushed rock, clove and tobacco. The wine is hugely structured and grand. Dark plum, cherry and mocha flavors round out the profile. Enjoy from 2028–2035.”
