Exquisite Chimney Rock Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

A paragon producer of classic Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, Chimney Rock was established in 1980 by Hack and Stella Wilson, producing their first vintage in 1984.

The Wilsons partnered with the Terlato family in 2000, dedicating their resources to constructing a new, state-of-the-art winemaking facility in 2002 that allows the winemaking team unlimited freedom and flexibility.

The Tomahawk Vineyard is a small plot at the cooler southern end of the property planted over two decades ago that consistently provides impressively intense fruit with multiple layers of complexity.

Winemaker Elizabeth Vianna worked as a harvest intern at Chimney Rock in 1999 while completing her Master’s in enology at UC Davis. She joined the team three years later, climbing the ranks to head winemaker in 2005.
